@adambsilver I‘ve seen sections on websites that where called „notes“, but I‘m not a fan of splitting too much. Right now I see „blog“ on your site and I think that fits for both lengthy articles and rough notes. The name of the section shouldn’t stop you from publishing. That happened to me.
